Picture it: a classroom filled with giggles, secrets, and the unbreakable bond between two best friends. That’s right, I’m talking about my 5th-grade bestie—we were inseparable! We shared everything from our lunchtime snacks to our deepest secrets. We were the dynamic duo, the queens of the playground, and nothing could come between us—or so I thought.

…as life often teaches us, things don’t always go according to plan. It was a falling out that left me wondering, “Was I the nightmare?”
