Pop Quiz! Put All Your Books Away

Wifeys & Gentlemen,

Can you believe June is more than ½ over? That means that 2015 is more than ½ over and we are creeping up on the summertime with great momentum (& heat…dreaded, dreaded heat).

This, in my opinion, speaks to the pulse of the time we are in right now. It seems that everywhere I look big things (both good and bad) are happening and everyone in my life (and in society) is busy with transitions and changes; socially, politically, culturally, professionally, and romantically (of course).

We’ve been focused on transitions and taking the next step for the past few weeks now, and I am super excited to spend these next two weeks writing about a subject that is new and challenging and fantastic…even for me! I’m speaking, of course, about cohabitation (living with your boo thang)!

For those of you who are new to the blog or do not know me personally [lucky you!], I have been living with my long-term boyfriend for a little over 3 months now. I wanted to wait to do this post until I had some practical experience, being able to provide my insight both from an intimate, personal perspective and from a logical, scientific one.

For fun (& because honestly, I am having one of those days and can’t churn out a more lengthy post right now or at any point this weekend) this week, I want to give all of my fellow wifeys (& gents) a chance to test themselves on their “move in readiness”. Please know, I think these quizzes are more about fun than facts (which we can go into later) but I took this one and liked the message that it delivers and the direction it is heading in. It aims to asses from a practical and intuitive perspective (in 10 questions only)  and I thought it would be interesting to see where we all stand.

I took the quiz three times, one with my current love in mind and two other times while focused on past romances. Based on this “hands-on assessment” (which is totally official and not subjective at all — hehe), I think it is possible for all wifeys (single or otherwise) to have fun and benefit from the quiz. Take it, and (if you feel so inclined) let me know your results sometime before next week!

Next time, I will break down some of my own impressions about cohabitation readiness while also taking time to point out some of the immediate pros and cons that come with taking this major(ly awesome) step!

In the meantime, however, rejoice, Wifeys & Gents, today might be the 1st and only day that I give you a post that is LESS than 500 words.

Happy Friday to all & Until Next Week,

Carry on Wifeys!

Ms. Renai

🙂 ❤
