Wifeys & Gents,
I have missed you guys so much! It was super weird not posting at all last week, but I discovered that it was a much much needed break for me. I am not sure if I’ve mentioned this directly, but I have diagnosed generalized anxiety disorder and some days/weeks/moments are worse than others. Sometimes, I don’t even realize how much something is affecting me until it’s already out of control.
Don’t misunderstand, I didn’t go completely insane or do a bunch of things I’d later regret (haha). I’ve just been a little more irritable and mopey than usual. My brain has been in a haze or overthinking and worry. I realized, after forgetting about a medical appointment AND forgetting to record our podcast TWICE last week, that I needed to take some time off from all of the things (except for my job, of course). & so I did. It helped tremendously.
All of this to say that I hope everyone is doing whatever they need to do to ensure that they are putting their mental/physical health and wellness first. Take time to process. Take time to unplug when you need to. I feel a lot better now and am really looking forward to getting back into the things that make me feel good!
